The ability to handle complexity lies at the core of evolution.
As an entity’s framework conditions become more and more complex, the ability to survive and thrive becomes increasingly difficult. This means being able to handle the internal complexity of a group structure as well as the external complexity of the framework conditions.
As far as human beings are concerned, the ability to handle increasing levels of complexity is age dependent, and should be nurtured by giving individuals diverse leadership experiences as part of their customised leadership development programme.
