About Richard Barrett

The New Leadership Paradigm Web site was created by Richard Barrett, Chairman & Founder of the Barrett Values Centre (BVC).  The web site is owned, maintained and managed by BVC.

Richard BarrettRichard is an internationally recognised author, speaker and consultant on leadership, values and culture in business and society.

He is a visiting lecturer at the Consulting and Coaching for Change, leadership course run jointly by HEC Executive Education in Paris and the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He is also an adjunct professor at Royal Roads University, Institute for Values-based Leadership in Canada.

He works with leaders and senior executives in North America, Europe and Australia to develop values-driven cultures that build human capital, strengthen financial performance and support sustainable development.

He is the creator of the internationally acclaimed Cultural Transformation Tools®, which have been used to support more than 2,000 organizations and 3,000 leaders on their transformational journeys, in more than fifty countries. Richard is a Fellow of the World Business Academy, and former Values Coordinator at the World Bank.

In addition to his work in the field of personal and organizational transformation, Richard is a Visiting Lecturer and Adjunct Professor at several universities. He is the author of:

Barrett Values Centre

The Barrett Values Centre (BVC) provides powerful metrics that enable leaders to measure and manage the cultures of their organizations, and the leadership development needs of their managers and leaders. The core products of the organisation are the Cultural Transformation Tools. 

The Cultural Transformation Tools have been used to map the values of over 3,000 organisations and 2,000 leaders in 50 countries. The Cultural Transformation Tools are used by corporations, NGOs, government and municipal agencies, communities, schools and nations.
